Did they play the entire Carolus Rex album in Swedish? I wish I was there!

I always think that the people who complain that heavily touring singers "don't sound as good as they sound on the album" don't understand what a touring life is. Would people REALLY prefer that they CANCEL a show (or book a 1/4 of their current scedule) rather than perform sick, or not at their very VERY best...
Besides, comparing a studio version to live is pretty silly. *Obviously it won't be the same!*

This is from *Sabaton Cruise*, I for one, expect them to be fun and maybe drunk, not perfect.
Also in the live stuff, the mix or the acoustics might be f'cked, or the person filming is in bad spot or doesn't have good recording equipment...
The recordings a lot of time don't sound even close to like it did live.

I think people should give Jocke a break here. He might be a bit sick, It's in winter on the baltic sea after all. But it could be also that his mike isn't loud enough or something.
They also do around 130-170 shows in a year and that takes a toll on the body and Joakim has performed while being all kinds of sick: fever, salmonella, flu, and actually going to throw up between songs etc.

Obviously you do the very best you can do when you're making an album. Recordings last forever after all. And you get re-takes! But when you're touring it's really brutal on a singer, everything affects the voice, usually negatively. You simply can't do the same things on the road that you are capable of in a studio. That is not sustainable.
And let's be honest here, he's not a professionally trained singer who has a stable life style.

He's also a crazy bastard who (when doing "Carolus Rex" they only had the studio time, and funds, for 1 album, but all the singing had to be done double. Both in english and swedish)
sang, stopped to cough, spit some blood and continued.
That is f-ing unhealthy, but he did it to get the songs ready in time.

Why does Joakim sounds quite bad live? I mean like 4x worse than on records.
