You could have 100% included ‘Will & Grace’ on this list. The first season of the revival is all that was needed as it still had something to say in a new decade. Extending the return to 3 seasons was tired…leading to fallout between cast members and tarnishing the strong legacy it held.

The revival of Will & Grace. The original ending was perfect, full circle with their children meeting in college, falling in love and ending with Will & Grace on the phone together, night before the kids are getting married., their friendship as solid as ever. All characters had grown. All wiped out as a drunken dream of Karen. All character growth, gone.

In my opinion, the reason why Scrubs Med failed is because it aired less than a year after Scrubs ended. If they had given it a little bit of a breather from that emotional ending of Scrubs, Scrubs Med would have lasted at least a couple seasons.

I gave up on The Connors and I never thought I would because I loved the original series. It's just not a good show, like they forgot they're supposed to be a sitcom, aka be funny. Instead every episode, and this includes Roseanne's one season, is let's see how much of a sad sack we can make Dan and hit these people over and over again on how much their lives suck. Yeah the original series had their down moments, but mostly it was about these people making jokes and making the best of their various situations. Also the retconning, it's so disappointing.

And just some corrections, the fourth Connor kid was named Jerry, not Dan, and the prince in season 9 was interested in Jackie, not Roseanne.

That episode of x-files with Rhys Darby as the “wereperson” was utter genius! Shame the rest of the series couldn’t live up to it.

I actually thought the way Dexter New Blood ended was perfect. I don't feel like it could have continued into another season and having Harrison break the cycle was perfect imo.

I would argue The Brady Bunch was more '70s than '60s. Yes, the series premiered in the fall of 1969, but only a few episodes aired at the end of 1969 before the start of a new decade with the majority of the series airing in the 1970s. Also the Brady Girls Get Married and Brady Brides were one in the same. The girls got married and then became brides

If you like The Twilight Zone, check out Night Gallery. It was made in the 70's by Rod Serling and had that same Twilight Zone vibe.

My fiancé introduced me to Scrubs and even though he told me “we don’t talk about season 9”, the ending of season 8 was so perfect I had no desire to watch season 9
