Tonight, by popular demand, “The Light Gate,” welcomes back Michael Schratt for a third appearance. Michael is private pilot, military aerospace historian, longtime UFO researcher, lecturer, draftsman, an expert on classified ‘black projects,” UFO crash/retrievals, the government UFO coverup and more. He is the author of “DARK FILES: A Pictorial History of Lost, Forgotten and Obscure UFO Encounters.” He is a frequent guest on radio shows and podcasts. He has appeared on Coast to Coast and many other major podcasts, and regularly speaks at UFO conferences including, Contact in the Desert. His book, DARK FILES, presents 61 fully illustrated UFO encounters from around the world. These cases were obtained from real world "boots on the ground" research by gaining access to university archives, multiple UFO research centers, and private collections. All cases presented contain references so that the reader can verify them on their own. Every effort was taken to portray these cases accurately from eyewitness accounts and reports, thereby preserving an important part of our global history. This publication contains never-before-seen illustrations which make these historically significant UFO cases "come alive.” Tonight, Michael will be continuing his discussion of UFO crash/retrieval events, and our governments’ efforts to reverse engineer extraterrestrial craft, disclosure, and significant UFO events in the history of Ufology.

Perhaps next time you could let your guest talk more (fewer interruptions would be preferable, one should cherish the time you have with your guest), and please choose mainly audience questions directed at the guest (he seemed somewhat neglected towards the end of the podcast).

Preston, would love to see a compilation video dedicated experiences/sightings in state/national parks. I did peruse the channel archives, but nothing jumped out at me. Correct / point me in the right direction if I'm wrong.

That is so interesting you mention there is a lot of sightings in Indiana! Because as I use to hitch hike the United States back in my 20s the first time I’ve ever seen a real UFO, three of them actually was I. Indiana. Outside of a truck stop (thinking back on it I can’t for the life of me remember exactly what town I was in unfortunately) but I was in my sleeping bag because it was late, much too late to hitch a ride with a trucker as I had tried. So I am my girlfriend at the time we’re getting ready to call it a night and sleep till tomorrow when we will continue hitching. Well I recall just talking non-sense and staring at the sky with her when all of a sudden from right above us, three white lights like discs about the size of a dime coin 🪙 held arms length from our eyes silently hovered and as I stared confused at what it could possibly be, they zipped off so quick and precise they moved the shape of the clouds from their speed. Two of them looked as if they were going to desperate the one but they all stayed together in a triangle formation and off they went into the distance in curve across the sky! We both looked at each other and I said, “ did we just see a…” and she finishes “ a UFO 🛸! Yes we did.” I was so excited that we both seen this! That an obsession from child hood came true! I saw a UFO and came to the conclusion that we are not alone! There was no other way those things were from anything our military has. I was absolutely convinced, and ever since I recall this and am still dumb founded. But Indiana was where I was! Indeed, so I am very interested to hear that it’s busy there. Thank you!
