DUNE - First Look Trailer | Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya Movie

From the filmmaker Denis Villeneuve ("Blade Runner 2049", "Arrival") comes the epic action sci-fi DUNE, in theaters on December 18th, 2020.

Dune is an upcoming 2020 epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Eric Roth, Jon Spaihts and Villeneuve. It is an international co-production of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Hungary, and it is the first of a planned two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, and will cover roughly the first half of the book. The film stars an ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem.

Dune is scheduled to be released in the United States in IMAX and 3D on December 18, 2020, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

One of the greatest modern directors, scored by one of the greatest composers, an incredible cast, a brilliant team of screenwriters, based on one of the most influential and revolutionary Sci-fi novels ever written. My expectations are sky-high. Really hope the release isn't delayed.

Never read the book and only saw bits of the 1984 Dune movie, but this has my interest peaked. I am a fan of Denis Villeneuve's work and consider him one of the best visionary directors.
