when frames are construckted in Iceland we build supports for the seats and lowest point so when the kids are jumping inn it they wont couse it to develop stress cracks

Doing the same to a rotted out 2002 Coleman Spa by Max of Arizona. Thought of using fence boards as well (leftover from daughter's fence job) as we like the rustic look.

Thanks for the upload. Those valves are like $15 and it's tied into a union. No way I'd spend the time trying to fix that thing!

Grate job why not put clear plastic in between the wood and insulation. Will watter get behind the wood I'm trying to find out.

What was the original insulation? Did you have to dig it out or was it styrofoam sheets? Considering attacking my hot tub circa 2001. Electricals all work but there's a leak buried up inside. Seems like taking it apart and fixing it would be worth it? It's a reasonable simple device complicated by buried plumbing.... Thanks for posting!

How's it holding up? I'm at the same place, old 6 sided shell, a rotted frame and all new pump, controller and filter. I bought the exact controller, and have replaced all the rotted timber. I'm about to run the electrical and dry fit the plumbing. Thanks for the upload!

How do you make the plumbing accessible? Our old siding was made where you could just take the old panels off when you needed to work on it?

My dad passed away 3 years ago and I have no one to help me fix my hot tub. I would appreciate any and all help. I have a small leak coming from somewhere but how do I know it’s time to get new pumps vs having the pumps rebuilt?

Doing this exact some thing right now. I have the same age tub. Newbie question here. Does the sump of the tub on the ground bearing weight or is the whole thing hung from the rim of the frame? Mine has rotted out so badly the sump didn't touch anything but I can't tell if that was intentional or not.
