Today’s my 27th birthday, I was once a hippie big into the weed game, was really close with some people in Humboldt county and oregon. The lady worshipped Ganesha and did yoga and the other dude was big into psychedelics and believed in past lives and all that. The one thing that didn’t sit right with me is he always said… it’s not Jesus. Haven’t been cool with them in a couple years. I was big into drugs and this hippie chick in Oakland gave me a quartz crystal. I unintentionally adopted some new age beliefs. I know the demonic is real. I’m glad God has brought me back to the truth and I’m trying to spread it too!

I really needed to hear this man’s words. So simple, yet we tend to get busy and give the enemy a foothold, meant to set us back and ultimately destroy us.
I got angry with the Lord because I didn’t and still don’t understand why it’s so simple for many of us to pick up our cross and follow Him, yet not so easy for others, such as myself, to understand the concept of dying to the old woman and allowing Him to make a new creature out of me by transforming my mind.
Lord, please help me with discipline to keep my focus on your Words and make you Lord of my life. Please forgive me, Jesus.

This is eerily close to what i am going through with the illusion of wanting to protest n camp with others of similar values I am diné(navajo) from Pinon, AZ and this is exactly what you feel when you're around the other people in these movements for "peace, " "land back, " "justice for so-and-so, " etc. These people dont work out of love, they work for validity, out of their own egos and insecurities. It be your own people forreal. Once you come with Jesus and doing things righteously by Jesus' Ways, theres conviction and tension. Stealing, lying, trying to constantly one-up one another, etc., is not right in any circumstances. And as native american peoples, we wonder why we are in poverty, have no running water or electricity, constantly losing family members to alcohol, addiction, and violence, why we are living hard lives. It is because we idolize nature, God's creation, instead of the Creator, God. And what we should actually idolize: Christ, His Son. Live by His Ways rather than the traditions of man. Amen

Great testimony ! I found out in 1982 the difference between believing Jesus is real; compared to devoting, committing, fully surrendering to his lordship, and being led by the Holy Spirit. I had a powerful experience encounter with Jesus in 1972, and was a Jesus freak for a while. But the world, and my lack of commitment, and my ignorance about grace, and even not knowing how to deal with his power that made me tremble, eventually got me backslidden . Read and study Jesus words in the parable of the sower. Matthew 13:1-23. Mark 4:1-20. Luke 8:4-15. Before 1982, I was as terms Jesus described, not good ground. Once you become as good ground, God becomes a whole different experience for you. Receiving the word on any level less than good ground, it is as shifting sand, you will waver in and out of conviction, even backsliding . But, under good ground, you experience failure, but you never turn from following him. Search the new testament for the word " if ", and "continue" and "abide", and you will find the power and peace and joy of God remaining in you, to his glory and thanks and praise.

Dear brothers and sisters.

Please pray for me. For about 15 years I have been struggling with debilitating sickness that's made my life unberable. I am in my mid 30 and would love to still have streingth to serve my Savior and Lord.

Jesus is my Healer. Thank you all 🙏🏻

Please also pray that God grants me strength to go through this valley with humility and thankfulness.

Please also pray that the fire of Holy Spirit would be with me.

I’m having an estate sale tomorrow🎉… The 2nd of three. Hopefully, the third one will be the last one. Being tied to the earth is exhausting.
Jesus asked me to sell everything I own, and follow Him, last year, but, I was stingy and not willing to part with my stuff. Thankfully, the Lord is sweet and kind and patient and sooo good, and knew it wasn’t my stuff that I loved, but rather, giving myself fully, that I feared.
I don’t know what it is with us humans, but we like our stuff, and for me, I thought I was never gonna have anything more. I thought this was it. The devil was in my ear, constantly telling me what a failure I was; I’d lost two businesses, a mom, sister, grandfather, grandmother, and all I had to show for it was a broken heart, a broken house, and a giant storage unit, full of even more pain, just in case I needed to go visit. I’d turned into a hoarder. Somehow loss turned into me controlling what I could, and that meant stuff. Out of nowhere, I didn’t know how it happened, but every time I tried to tackle it, I’d immediately feel overwhelmed, like a failure, and I’d crawl back into my couch, staring at my iPad and draw for 18 hours a day. I lost relationships, hobbies, gained weight, it was just another thing that evil used to try and destroy me.
But, through the Lords persistence, I see, Jesus does everything, He is merely using me to do it. He heals what He likes, when He likes, how He likes - like the Bible says, the wind blows where it wishes.

All I can say is, Praise God and His Beautiful Only Begotten Son my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, for freeing me from the bondage of this world. Amen.

I’ve past over this testimony quite a few times on YouTube but today it played on auto play after a Video I was watching, I’m so glad I watched this testimony, it wasn’t what I was expecting!! This was so inspiring, I love how you went to your friend and told him you both needed to be born again and he just said ok!! Your first convert. I do hope he stayed faithful as you have done.
