Hi George and Su thank you for showing part 2 of this Vlog even though it’s interesting to see it’s really a shame on what happened all those years ago and to see all lovely beautiful buildings in a state and crumbling and still trying to imagine how amazing it once was and once again we hope it gets sorted out one day

That was really interesting. Tactfully done as I appreciate just what an emotive subject this is.
It’s really very sad to see any place fall into disrepair like this, especially for those who used to live there or know families who did, it will be very uncomfortable and upsetting to see.
I can understand having experienced something similar back where we used to live in East Africa.

Hi George and Sue. We always enjoy your your vlogs, just a clarification for you: Jet was a local clothing company in the seventies selling mainly shirts and trousers/jeans. Manufacturing in Nicosia and shops all over the island. Used to use them in Larnaca in the seventies.

Quick question, do you think they go round and clean some of the glass on some of the abandoned shops? Reason I say that is the glass on that titbits one looked almost brand new, really clean 🤣

I have many friends who were born here, this was the crown jewels of Cyprus, it's a insult to them, just teenagers, when they left, 😢😢😢
