The rebuke came after the recent Israeli airstrikes in southern Gaza's Rafah city. The attack caused a deadly fire in a camp for displaced people. He blamed the United States and European nations for the deaths and criticised Islamic countries for not taking joint action against Israel. Earlier, the White House condemned the civilian casualties from the Rafah airstrike but stated there would be no policy changes regarding Israel. The US said that Israel's actions in Rafah have not crossed a red line for President Joe Biden to trigger a possible policy change.
