Senior U.N. officials have told Israel they'll suspend aid operations across Gaza unless urgent steps are taken to better protect humanitarian workers, according to the Associated Press. A floating pier built by the U.S. military to get much-needed humanitarian aid into Gaza has spent more time being fixed than it has delivering food. Imtiaz Tyab got an up-close look.

The pier has already been removed. It was a failure. The pier wasn’t designed for that kind of surf.

There are 1200 trucks of food and aid sitting un collected and un distributed by the UN inside Gaza right now. They have had three years worth of food and aid sent in since October 2023.

“Compromised”? The IDF does have troops on the shoreside of the causeway due to the U.S. servicemen not being able to go ashore for political reasons. In fact, the IDF had to help collect the boats that washed ashore in Israel and Gaza as well as the bits of the causeway that washed ashore.

The pier is a great idea, but operating longer than anticipated I hope nothing goes wrong.

Wow maybe hamas should have thought about their people before starting a war, but hamas doesn’t care for their people at all. God bless Israel.
