Yea, a long time ago. My Dad, who was buying cars starting in the 1930s with Fords stopped buying GM products in the '50s and started buying Dodges after a disastrous purchase of a 1959 Olds, first AC in a car we ever had, which would stop working if it was over about 85 degrees if I remember (I was pretty darn young). We lived in Phoenix so that Olds went back to the Dealership often. None of this is really making points with your video but I'm reaching that "back in the day" age so I needed to share LOL

I don’t know Scotty, I have a 98 Yukon daily driver, everything works perfectly! Also a 78 Chevy Custom Deluxe, same deal!

Hey, Scotty! I got back into cars back when I was a freshman in school, and like many young kids, I liked exotic cars more than anything. Now that I'm almost done with college, I fell in love with cars at the beginning of this year. My 2008 GMC Acadia almost killed me when the wiring shorted out last year and a fire started in the car; it shut off and locked me in while rolling down the road. After months of looking around and comparing used models of cars, I fell in love with the history of the Celica, and I bought a 1990 Celica GT as a project car that I could drive for a while as I polish it and revive its beauty. Your videos are so much help to me as I've never worked on cars until my Celica, and I genuinely have fun listening to your experience and working on my own car!

I’m on my 3rd GM truck, the last 2 I sold with more than 200k on the odometer and they were still running great.

My son brought over his Chevy 2014 Captiva that he got an unbelievable deal on. We were fixing the headlight connector that burned up. We just pigtailed a new one on. But we had fun because we talked about Scotty and doing Scotty impressions while working on a Chevy. Lol

Awww i love my 2010 Tahoe. I've had it since 2011, purchased it used at 26k miles... Currently sitting at just under 200k miles, I'm very pleased. I did have a rear main seal that I had to replace about 2 years ago and I need new speakers in the back (they are totally gone) but honestly my only complaint is the fact that the stupid plastic dash cracked in the summer heat a year after I bought it and then I found out it was a common problem. Oh and my rear a/c went out, but the front blows cold enough to keep my daughter in the backseat comfortable so I haven't fixed it yet. Other than that, I've only done routine maintenence, just replaced the spark plugs about 15k miles ago for the first time... and we are "trucking" it. ❤️ Still rides smooth as the day I drove it home. But at 16 average mpg, I need something a little easier on gas to get around this dfw metroplex. I've been here 4 years but I've mainly avoided heavy traffic. Now I have no choice but to drive on the traffic with the constant stop and go due to schedule changes. I need a car just as reliable.

94’ Chevy Cavalier 215k miles. I’m the second owner. Guy bought it brand new, kept it in a garage and was a daily to work. Got recorded papers from 94’ till 2018 of everything that’s been done/replaced. Still going like a clock
