As an app developer with Java and flutter both, I would say this video is on point. Both the backend and frontend part are correct. Just one thing to add, in kotlin things like coroutines etc are important, you may skip using it in app(when you see online videos, they choose the easy path) but you must implement these things, there are many ways to pass data in flutter, but you must use the most effective one, and not just get done with the easy ones. Remember companies will ask you the efficient ones because no company will compromise on that. Always deploy your app on store, make the app not just like a project, but like an end user application keeping user experience in mind and fixing such bugs. Try to be great at ui look and feel, keep the api based backend secure and fast. 2 great projects on resume and well prepared for interviews will land you in a good company.
