That's great exercise for big muscles like chest and back. For biceps you can isolate the movement just like curling the rope dinamically, you will feel the burn in the muscle. So it can complement this exercise with more located muscular groups.

Excellent. You went thru four stances as you worked the ropes. That will take your katas to the next level and make your movements explosive.

Lifting weights will make u strong but in right wau too keep it up. I lift heavy and i am flexable

I see your belt is turning white that show your time and dedication to your art.. By the way you are using them correctly but better with stance training.. i would do the same because that's foundation...
