Just discovered your channel and have to say your videos are very complete, clear and concise.

I have seen you "convert" your epson ecotank cmyk (4dye) printer, to sublimation dyes.

I am thinking of buying an epson photo XP-15000 (6dye) and "converting" it to a sublimation printer. Yes! I know it uses cartridges, but my research shows that there exists, no chip firmware, a ciss and the required 6 dye sets of sublimation dyes for this printer.

I have seen that photos with this printer using its standard dye set on normal photgraphic papers for this printer are far better than the normal cmyk 4 dye printers.

I am wondering if that is the case for this xp-15000 6dye printer "converted" to sublimation dyes, verses the same photos printed with a normal cmyk 4dye epsom "converted" to sublimation.


In theory yes but is it in practice, as i have no experience with sublimation dyes, I was wondering if you would know.

First of all, thanks for all your videos, love them! Also, after getting a clogged print head, I did all the cleanings, nozzle checks, purge sheets, I did a power cleaning, replaced the ink tanks on the back, did more cleaning heads, bought a cleaning kit, did the paper napkin thing, arrggg, so much time has passed. Since Thanksgiving to be exact. lol I can’t even remember how much ink and paper I have gone through at this point. 😅 Anyway, my paper is coming out way better, but it still has a very thin line in between each print stroke for all of my colors. I’m wondering if I should do another power clean at this point. I’m getting to the end of my patience line. Help! ❤

Just setup my ET-2800. I have ran 6 clean head tests. I have the same 6 missing segments every time. 3 Black, 2 M, and 2 C. It's just spots though not the whole lines but it's the same every time. Do you think it's more than air or clog?

Is it enough to just do a nozzle check every few days if I’m not printing regularly…will this be enough to stop it clogging?

Mine is not printing out any yellow or cyan color and I filled it up with ink but it just won’t print those colors

I tried installing my EPSON printer but it doesn’t feed the paper. The “invalid” message appear while I try to resolve the issue.

My et2760 has a clog in the cyan and I’ve done multiple nozzle and head cleans. I’ve done 2 power cleans and the clog is still there. It’s now getting worse 😢 please help me. Guide me to clear this issue please!!!! Thank you
