Fix An error has occurred|Download interrupted|Failed-Network error in Chrome

Fix An error has occurred|Download interrupted|Failed-Network error in Chrome-an error has occurred this item is already being downloaded and added into chrome-an error has occurred network_failed chrome.This error is mainly occurred in following operating systems like that windows 7,windows 8,windows 8.1,windows 10 also.

I get the following error while try to download the extension in google chrome web store:

An error has occurred

Download interrupted

RELOAD CLOSE.

Solution:

Goto chrome extension downloader

Copy the URL of the extension and then paste that URL into that website and press download option.

Now drop that file into your extension folder.

Finally the extension problem is solved.

edit host file may help you to get apps installed.

Open Windows Explorer > Local Disk C: > Windows > system32 > drivers > etc
You could see a file named "hosts" Right click on it and copy it and paste it into desktop.
Now, you've to open the file using Notepad (Wordpad can be used too. Any good text editors) by right click on the file, open with - Notepad
Add(in my case i removed) this line to the bottom of the page:

127.0.0.1 clients2.google.com

Save the hosts file and then copy and paste it to the etc folder.
See if you can download apps and extensions now.

great fix for most apps and extensions. Unfortunately will not work for Videostream - when I try a message says "This extension can only be installed with the chrome webstore" Damn!!!
