i tried both methods with no luck, but I deleted my network settings, put them back in, worked perfect after that, hope it helps anyone whos still struggling to get it fixed

I have Gen 2 on OS 5 and Downlader 1.4.3. What’s diff is when I open Downloader for the first time, it doesn’t ask me to allow permission. Just goes to the main screen. Also, my Developer Option - Apps from Unknown screen doesn’t list any apps. I’m just able to turn that option on or off. So I turn it on. When I put in your info on the Downloader screen, everything works. But it doesn’t for the other. I still get the error message. I’ve even did the restart and factory reset several times. That one gives me the error message. Is it a problem with the link that I’m keying in if yours is working?

Hi I'm Having the same problem but when i go to settings and to "My Fire TV", I can't see the "Developer Options" on mine. What i see is "About", Legal & Compliance", "sleep", " Restart" and then "Reset to Factory Defaults". What should I do?
