hear me out., its completely possible that what people see as "Grey" aliens, are actually Super intelligent Octopi in their version of a space suit(exoskeleton) from deep below earths oceans.
1. our atmosphere IS outer space to them.
2. Octopi are Masters of Camouflage and mimicry. they would adopt and use the best form of motion on dry land (2 arms, 2 legs. and a rigid structure to hold there flesh up due to gravity on land, apposed to gravity in water (buoyancy). Octopi have no internal skeleton, so mostly likely they'd use an Exoskeleton.
3. the sunlight is much brighter on land then the deep ocean. hence the large dark eyes (sun glasses)
4. Octopi can and do use tools. a more intelligent version could possibly learn to use volcanic eruptions to create complex tools.
5. being closer to the earths core might have led them to learn how to manipulate magnetic fields.
6. if the "Grey" were coming from outer space, we would be able to detect the incoming traffic. not so easy to do with objects coming from beneath the ocean .

I have a different theory. Ancient astronaut theorists say a meteor evolved the octopus but our dna is different because it was tampered with. Why was the octopus’s dna not tampered with by extraterrestrials? I think we need to spend more time understanding this creature.

For some reason over the years I’ve felt more guilty eating them than beef etc. yes it’s hypocritical but as of 7months ago I stopped eating them.
