About 12 yrs back, I had started my career in banking and her account was handed over to me. I only used to deal with her accountant tbh but on my 4th visit to her office, which happened to be on the ground floor of her Delhi duplex, she was present in a different area of the house while i was meeting her accountant at her office. Somehow she got to know her banker was at her office, who also happens to be a Bengali (thats me), came down to her office just to meet me.
We spoke for barely 5 minutes but she made me feel so special, i was astounded at her simplicity and overwhelmed by her intelligence. Also, she comes across as one of the kindest human beings you'd have ever met.
The 23 yr old me was too overwhelmed to even realise what just happened.
