American here. I love this channel and your effort to parallel Trump to Brexit is spot on. It's identical issues against a different backdrop and this is super helpful when things get overwhelming/mucky. Granted, America just went over a cliff and currently is burning so i look to your hell and go "how quaint". The fact is that Covid took me off the board (i'm fine, but a high risk young guy so im locked the F down) but honestly, we've got other problems atm, so that's a problem for tomorrow-however much of a nightmare that will be. I fully expect our healthcare network to collapse. Sh*t is dark over here and the cops have gone nuts; horses trampling folks/cop cars & trucks ramming folks/ cops shooting folks & journalists/teargas everywhere/curfews/police instigation across the board...the works. Only during the day, in the sun, everyone's going about normal life w/out masks!!! how?! I've heard ambulances just about every night for 3months from my apt for Covid reasons and im literally hearing 'pops' in the background as I'm typing this from godknowswhat. It feels like a UK v USA race to the bottom but after this week, America 1st? (my humor got dark).
As to you're Biden analysis, the DNC/Biden have chosen a 'hands off - let Trump implode' strategy. This started during the primaries as Biden is a gaff machine at best and at the moment, Trump is imploding and American is literally burning. We've had one hell of a week. We're 7months out from the election so who knows whats coming, and maybe the strategy will pay off? Excluding the Trumpkins, Americans are FED UP! but what America needs now more than ever is leadership and nobody is stepping up. Bidens posing w/ protesters but a few weeks back, the words "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black' literally left his mouth so we're probably perma-F****d. I really don't want to hear that the same BS starts going down on your end on the pond. Stay sane, stay safe.
