This European scientific revolution was only the second scientific revolution. The first scientific revolution was the Islamic scientific revolution of that began in the 7th century in Spain and Baghdad. This coincided with the Dark ages in Europe. Muslims took knowledge from the Greeks, Romans and Indian and added to it thereby creating the most advanced civilazation at the time. That knowledge of the Muslims is what got translated into Latin during the crusades and thus lead to the renaissance of Europe and eventually this second scientific revolution

Copernicus is famous for suggesting that the earth is not the center of the universe in his book “On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres”. I will be famous for telling you that you are not the center of the universe in my upcoming book “You are not the Center of the Universe.”

The Enlightenment is still happening and being perpetuated in the mainstream paradigms today including globalism. It is not a past tense period in time.
