Utjan's QoL Bundle is a must-have. Their Item UI Enhancements mod is also fantastic. More suggestions incoming, sorry in advance for the wall of text!

I have a modlist in MO2 that I call "Minimum QoL", and it doesn't have many texture or graphics mods in it. What it does have are things like:

* Shift-Hover Transfer - it's hard to overstate just what an incredible QoL gain this mod is. It lets you hold shift and just WAVE your mouse over items to transfer them. No more click-click spam.
* Sorting Plus - imposes order on the chaos of your inventory, heavily customizable
* Combine All Items - A simple right-click context menu option to combine multi-use items into as few items as possible
* Barrier Defense Task Emissions Fix - fixes a longstanding bug that causes emissions to permanently stop happening if you fail the barrier defense task
* Fair Fast Travel - more than just what it sounds like, adds paid guide travel from the PDA map, and lets you customize every detail of fast travel - from how long it takes to whether there's a cost or cooldown
* Crook's Identification UI - gets rid of the colored cursor that magically tells friend from foe, and replaces it with a more balanced and visually pleasing HUD element
* Stealth Overhaul - not a new mod by any means, but an absolutely mandatory one for anyone who enjoys stealth gameplay
* He is With Me - If you are friendly with a faction, your companions are also
* Weapon Parts Overhaul - very much a YMMV inclusion, but for me personally, this is one I won't play without--it's never made sense to me that you can't field strip weapons, and it makes crafting and repair more engaging
* Screen Space Shaders - Once you play with the modded binaries, you can't go back--Anomaly with SSS is almost a different game, visually

Personally, I equipped my companions with LMGs and drum mag AR-15 platform to provide both cover fire and suppressive fire since they are more of a crapshoot rather than crack shot. Hip with PKM Zenit, Psoglav with MG42, and an other Loner with AR-15 HERA.

Extra Transitions and reanimated PDA are hands down the best addons I've ever tried. Cover tilt and weapon sway come next.

hey moxy, know of any mod that changes the task pool? it feels like cheating when a stalker asks for an item that's purchasable 5 feet away

For a list of NECESSARY mods there are some pretty filler ones. At least I would not call deagle reanimation or weapon inspection to be the most vital.

With my the newest gamma update, see at least one or two of them are already in gamma now, but wonder if the new BAS is, and think with the new version campfires heal limbs causes issue.

Its really amazing where this game is going and u wish it was built on a beter engine all things would have been better and faster and easier for the modders but after all that effort the game is still free and its truly awesome ❤

does anyone know what mods gamma and efp use to replace/upgrade the vanilla weapons with BaS weapons? and no its not the mod thats popular on moddb
