The cool kids are playing STALKER ANTHOLOGY (Review + Install Guide)

I wanted to shine some light on a very cool project today: STALKER ANTHOLOGY. It's still a work in progress, but perfectly playable in it's current state and a pretty fun experience.

ANTHOLOGY aims at bringing into STALKER Anomaly a lot of new storylines from other mods (Valley of whispers, Spatial Anomaly, base game questlines etc...) into a unified & expanded open world which is first quite the task, but a very interesting concept at the same time. Basically a bigger Anomaly open world, fully customizable, with a ton of new quests, NPCs and storylines to engage with. Pretty neat.

It really is about time that all the *Lost Alpha* maps were added into *Anomaly*
- Plus more mission variety / more dynamic NPC+Mutant spawns on the maps we DO know - We've all played through the present dynamic missions 100+ times!

+ There are still many little mods that I feel are essential to (but not included in) Anomaly - Like Faction ID / Slow-Healing Campfires / 1 knife-hit box smash / 1st Person body etc etc

As stated in the ModDB description they also added some (maybe all?) of the Lost Alpha maps. I always wished they were part of Anomaly and now they are.🤩 Stalker moding community is just awesome!

Oh man please keep us in the loop when a more stable release becomes available, and especially when it gets GAMMA smashed into it! Playing GAMMA with storylines would be awesome!

This sounds very interesting, I always felt like Anomaly and GAMMA get really boring after the 3rd playthrough. Anthology looks very promising with all the new places and stories to explore!

Perfect timing - I uninstalled it last night because it kept crashing when trying to start a game 😂 This is pretty much exactly what I have been waiting for for years - I reckon I can wait a while for it to be properly stable and fixed before I dive in - I’ve waited this long 😅

This is something i have talked about for a while and I happy to hear someone is making it possible. I think GSC should have done a Stalker trilogy remastered for PC and even Xbox to get people ready for Stalker 2. It would have given them more time and they could have even outsourced it to another developer. This project sounds like the closest thing we will get to that.

Dude, the story of the first 3 games (especially SoC) + the variety, survival aspects, difficulty, freedom and choice of weapons/outfits from GAMMA? This has been literally my dream ever since I first played Anomaly. I really hope this takes off.
