Teaching a great group of students how to use a layer 3 switch and Switched Virtual Interfaces - SVI's to perform inter-VLAN routing. With VTP, Etherchannel and DHCP thrown in for good measure :-)

great vid, but I have to ask: as far as I know, setting up an ether channel can not be on the same group number. every device needs a different ether-group i.e. layer 3 switch has to be on ether-group 1 and the layer 2 switch has to be on ether-group 2, for example. how does it work if they are BOTH on the same group in different devices?

Tried to watch your video and the teacher seems well qualified and able to get the concepts across, but, the video is pretty much unwatchable because of the videographer. The camera is constantly moving and going in and out of focus. Try putting the camera on a tripod and leave the focus alone.
