I've just done all the tests imaginable for this. In the end after 3 MRIs, 2 CT scans, balance and auditory tests, blood tests, and ECGs, my second neurologist (a balance neurologist) who basically ruled everything out told me to quit with the testing and deal with the anxiety. He explained to me why anxiety effects me in this way and what stress does to the balance organ. I found it very comforting but still feel quite dizzy and have bouts of vertigo. But I am learning not to react so much when I have them.

This website has been a blessing for me though. Every other website would tell me that what I was feeling - the dizziness and vertigo - meant that there was something wrong with me. This was the only website that said I was anxious and turns out it was true. I wonder if it would be beneficial for others if you were to post a video on how stress physically effects the brain and what it does to the balance organ.

My symptoms started with dizziness and off balance when on my feet. After months of the is and testing I then started having the anxiety symptoms I’m use to in the past. Upset stomach, no appetite, muscle tightness in neck and back. I got into therapy and started cbd since I didn’t want to try medications. Slowly I’ve felt better after simplifying my life. It felt like I was on edge 24-7 for months. I was working 7 days a week in the Florida sun for couple years. I’m confident anyone reading this can get better you just have to take it day by day and not dwell on your symptoms or the future.

It’s so difficult not to react. I’m always convinced it’s not just anxiety and something is being missed. That it’s a serious issue that I’ll have to live with forever because I’ll never know the true cause. And then I know these thoughts will continue the issue and keep it alive. It’s a never ending cycle for me.

Can the dizziness go away permanently? I've been feeling dizzy, lightheaded, faint and unbalanced for 2, 5 years now . It just doesn't seem to go away... it makes it hard to do certain things.

If anybody has advice or is going through something similar, please reply to this comment, I'm desperate. I've been chronically dizzy for a very long time and it's just getting worse as time passes. I've done all the tests possible and everything came back inconclusive. Finally I'm at the last resort which is treating my anxiety. I have started taking anxiety medication and it hasn't helped, just made my dizziness worse. I'm sure that my anxiety disorder plays a partial if not full role in my debilitating dizziness. I just don't know why the medication isn't working and I don't know if I'll ever get better. Any advice?
