I'm sure anyone who uses a decent quality case won't experience scratches, especially if you're always aware to not put it in your pocket or somewhere else with other objects in it like keys and such. And also just make sure your pockets don't have any dirt or hard particles. On top of that just cleaning out the case from time to time should do. I wouldn't even call these scratches considering most people have to look under a certain lighting really really hard to see them.

Other scratch test videos are dumb as hell cause jesus ı don't carry my phone with a razor blade in the same pocket!What you made is the what people exactly needed I guess cause they don't want to see how it scratch, they want to see how easily it scratches.I thought about an Apple Silicone case but the full-open bottom scares the hell out of me a lot.Anyway, great video, I appreciate.

The scratches are cool. It makes the phone look used and personable. Slowly a wonderful patina builds up. I still have my iPod with the shiny metal back -> it's riddled with small scratches and lines. Looks wonderful.

I think i figured out why Apple came out with a jet black finish. Apple knew that micro scratches will bother the crap out of many iphone owners, so they figure that owners will get so pissed off at the damage they will trade it in sooner than later. More profits for Apple in the long run. The Jet Black finish is a mind game to upset people that want to keep their phones looking fresh.

Went to the store knowing I was going to buy a gold IPhone 7 plus. Looked at all the colors and ended up buying matte black. I think it's the best color. The only cover I'll be using is a front one, tempered glass to protect the screen. I use to have clear cases, however even clear cases take away from the nice color of the phone.

Great job. Your phone is almost new! You should see my jet black after three weeks! It is scratched like hell! And I have been gentle with it! But my fault cause I did not get a case for it! Now I'm trying to find a way to sort of clean it and polish it! I wish I can show you!

you can buy back protector like the screen protector. It will keep it away from scratches and in the same time you enjoy the amazing color

I own matte black 7 now but think of returning for jet black7 since it shows some tiny chips around each corners . Seems like this is somewhat common . ( you can check it out on apple.com forum where people are claiming matte black chips off )..
