I actually like the way iPhones looks when they have the wear & tear. I'm going to purchase the jet black and use it w/o a case. I think the scratches give it a personality. It's my phone.

I remember the lg flex having a special coating that would make scratches disappear. why the heck did apple release the jet black model knowing it would scratch so easily I don't know. standards are slipping

I almost went with the jet black iPhone 7 plus but with all the extra wait time, I decided to go with the new matte black iPhone 7 plus. Definitely have to say I made a good choice. The antenna bands are just as hidden and it doesn't scratch nearly as bad.

Apple made the Jet Black version to compete with Samsung. That shiny gloss factor has been on Samsung phones the last two years. Pay attention.
