I've been knitting since 1967 and i never knew this! So much easier than tearing out.

This is the most helpful short I’ve ever watched. You have no idea how helpful this is. Not knowing how to undo a mistake in knitting is the reason I prefer crochet. Thank you!!!

Life changing! I hate making a mistake in knitting because I can't frog it like I can with crochet. Now I can! Thank you😊

If you put in lifelines (e.g. thread/yarn ) every x number of rows while you knit, you won’t have to pick up the legs as in the video. When you’re done knitting you just pull the lifelines.

Thank you very much for showing! I am a knitter and crocheter all my life, learned to crochet from my greatgrandmother, to knit from my grandmother and mother. They were so good at it. Honestly, I did not know that some saving/knitting/crochet techniques disappeared from common knowledge. Really appreciate what you do.

❤ May God bless you! this is the reason I feared knitting and yesterday had to go back 3 rows in my project and did it in such a clumbsy and hard way to get my stitches back, 2 unraveled and almost died hahaha😅 (I'm new to knitting) and now your video! thank u so much! ❤❤❤❤

Que idéia 💡 criativa.
Faço tricô desde menina, sou auto didata, minha mãe não tinha paciência de ensinar, eu só olhava, e saía fazendo.
Obrigada!

Also a good preventive measure - use a tapestry needle threaded with yarn (or thread or basically whatever won't be too thick), & run it through the same way. Now you have a lifeline in *case* something goes wrong. Better to run it through a straightforward row like this than a bunch of detailed lacework, of course.

I've had to do this many times in my knitting life. The technique is known as putting in a life-line. I usually work on larger pieces so I use long thin circular needles so that I can just knit off of it to continue. Or I also use a darning needle and thread to secure the row before ripping/frogging back. However this method is more time consuming because you have to then remount the stitches from the thread back onto the knitting needle before continuing with your knitting.
