"Trick Flow’s R-Series Intake Manifold for Small Block Chevrolet is engineered, dyno proven, and tested to outperform the competition!

It all started when Trick Flow saw a void in the market for an ultra high-performance intake manifold for small block Chevy engines. They set their engineers to work, and what they came up with was the R-Series intake manifold—catered to large displacement engines capable of 600 or more horsepower in the 3,500-7,500+ RPM range. While optimized for Trick Flow Super 23® 230cc cylinder heads, this manifold also performs well on engines using any 220cc or larger port heads.

Trick Flow’s development team used the latest CAD technology to create a one-piece single plane, spider-type design with a large, open raised floor plenum, paying special attention to maximizing airflow and equalizing air and fuel distribution. The well-balanced flow and minimal restriction are the keys to extracting the most performance available, giving users an edge over the competition. The team also focused on weight reduction by eliminating excess material where possible and casting it in strong yet lightweight A319 aluminum. Trick Flow made sure to leave enough material through the runner walls so the intake can be port matched, or even fully ported for builders wanting to extract every ounce of power from their engines. Integral bosses in each runner can be drilled and tapped for nitrous nozzles."

Great video! I’ve been searching for the specs on the intake port size. I have Dart iron eagle 215’s and this is one of the only intakes I’ve found that fits a 1206 gasket out the box. Thanks

The outer runners seem to have a noticeable difference in cross sectional area at the plenum end

It does look nice. Should be a good fit for the 245’s. I had MBE port my dart for a raised deck IE block and they removed a lot of material. This intake looks similar.

I would've liked the runner dividers to extend further into the plenum and a bit more meat to allow better blending from the runners to the carb pad.

Just picked up this intake for my 436 SBC. What kind of HP and TRQ increases have you seen after porting one of these ? Engine has AFR 220 heads currently with a Victor Jr 1" taller intake that has been ported.

Great review ! In your opinion do you think this intake will outperform a Edelbrock super victor 2925 I currently have ? Runners look large on the trick flow intake . I have a 11:5.1 406, afr 227, big solid roller .
