Massive Heat Waves Altered the Molecular Structure of this Granite

This is a megalithic graveyard north of Cairo at Tell-Basta where the endless ruins of a massive megalithic site can be seen that once stood in ages past. As @the_guide_of_egypt explains, the extremely hard rose granite was exposed to such intense heat waves that it changed the molecular structure of the stone. It’s not like this structure just toppled over to where you can still see the shape of its base, instead, the cataclysm that hit here was so intense that these mega-ton blocks were scattered & broke apart as if they were cardboard boxes.
