No matter what I do I can't get ANY video editing app(powerdirector or davinci)to open in anything but a tiny screen. If I "resize" it the second I come off the window I'm using(say if I need to pull something from my files)it closes back to a tiny, cell phone shaped window.

Been doing this with my 20 ultra for sometime - I realize my external monitor is rather an hassel with the need to charge. My surface pro has similar thickess without needing to charge. The only problem with Dex is it's weird when the device is fully charged sometimes. Also the inconvenience of file managemnent when it is in the phone mode makes it hard to use. I am kind of minimalist therefore I just use thinkpad wireless keyboard with a dongle that allows charging while plugged in for dex (i don't really use my surface charger anymore)

i connect to laptop with wired it not full quality whatsoever and there is delay even on 60fps content (games also i can feel)

I don't really see the point in using DEX... I don't really understand the hype either. If I want to edit photos, I can also transfer the photos via Quickshare or via USB-C and edit the photos via photo editing programs. Emails, messages, telephone calls are automatically linked to my desktop via Bluetooth. And apps such as ESPN or other sports channels are already installed on my desktop by default, and i've i want to know the weather i move the curser from my mouse to the left side of taskbar and i get the weather..
