Alcaraz was getting into some sort of rhythm here but three it away in quest of glory shots...had his revenge in Court PC, though.

This commentary is so crazy... Were they watching the same match as I was? Zverev was playing nearly flawless tennis and his amazing winners were getting barely any praise. Alcaraz has a string of a few great points and they are calling his performance "breathtaking". He often demonstrates breathtaking tennis that is completely worthy of this level of praise, but, as I imagine Alcaraz himself would agree, this was one of his worst performances in recent memory. I want nothing more than to like him as he is such an amazing player and by all accounts a great person off court. But I wish everyone would stop showering him with blind adoration. It's beyond irritating to everyone who are fans of other players. It ultimately doesn't do Alcaraz any favors, it gives him a lot of haters and since high praise comes high expectations, he could easily crack under this kind of pressure in the future.

I mean why is Sinner not making all this noise and Alcaraz does?

One universal truth of tennis: players ALWAYS play better without their parents around. Well, except maybe for the Williams sisters.
Honestly though all credit to Zverev, he played an almost flawless match and made Alcaraz’s look pretty ordinary for three sets.

Congratulations to Sacha, i think he deserved to win today, Carlos played well too but not to his best level today and i think it’s normal, he can’t win all matches, what we all know is that Carlos will analyse this match and correct whatever went wrong. I just hate it when people start comparing him to Sinner for making some grunt when he plays, there’s no relevance to his perseverance today, he is not the only player who makes such noises, if it’s helping him cope, who cares 🤷‍♂️

Zverev couldn't beat Alcaraz 4 months prior in the US open failing to capitalize on break point opportunities 😤🚿 But it just goes to show you how can change in a short period of time 💵💸💸💸💳💷💷💴😎🎆🥯🎆🇩🇪🌭🎉🥳🍺♥️

Unbelievable play by Zverev against such a high ranked opponent. I love this guy. Great player and great human under pressure. Can't wait to see where he goes from here. Great job Zverev. Hats off to you and it's always a pleasure to watch your play. Thanks for the amazing play!

Alcaraz has found out that it is not easy to maintain the highest level and to win 20+ GS -s.
He is searching for that top form, I hope he finds it again,

Listening to the commentary you would think Alcaraz is wining the match. They spend more time oohing and aahing over his shots (even when he is losing).

Carlos, future play-maker even though he lost. But honestly his team should seriously & very urgently reconsider his dressing & dress code as is befitting a tennis player & champion.
If need be contact me for an input.
Wish him more successes in his bright-looking career.
