The fit and finish on this thing is as good as SS can get. Maybe I got an older model or something, but this finish is better than my Wave +

I bought my Sidekick instead of the Wingman because it came with the Sheath and Carabiner (I felt it was a more valuable buy), however, I do love having a Scissor function, which makes me itchy to now also buy a Wingman. Cheers, Don (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)

The wave is perfect, it doesn't need to be spring loaded.

I've had the original Wave for a long time, which is great when I'm out in the field, but I don't like it for EDC. It's too big and doesn't have a pocket clip. So I'm looking for something that's smaller, lighter, great for EDC, and has a clip. You're right about the tools - pliers, scissors, & knife blade a must. This one seems OK, but I don't like that lesser quality - I'm not buying a leatherman that isn't top shelf. And for me it has too many tools for EDC and seems heavier/bigger than I'd like. I definitely don't need a can opener on the daily. Problem is that the smaller ones sacrifice one of the critical tools I'm looking for, so still haven't found the right one yet. Skeletool doesn't have scissors. Style PS has scissors but no knife blade. Style CS has no pliers.

You said the majority of people don’t wear glasses. The numbers say different, 75% of the population wear some sort of eye correction. 64% of that is eye glasses. We are a nation of myopia, probably too much reading.
