On this episode of Bill On Bikes, master Harley-Davidson technician Bill Miko installs Zippers Magnetti-Marelli conversion a 2000 Harley-Davidson Road King. Zipper’s has taken the popular ThunderMax® EFI electronics and merged it with a single-throat Delphi®-style throttle body (with the help of some specially made parts) and developed this full conversion kit for bikes with H-D’s earliest Magnetti-Marelli EFI systems. This kit allows you to retain the original wiring harness and gas tank, while upgrading to similar components used in the highly durable and reliable Deplhi®-based bikes of 2002-2005.

i used a fuel pump for a 2003 f150 from autozone. same exact pump. cheap maintenance. awesome kit

Great video I have a 2000 flhpi and definitely want to do this, I just upgraded to the fueling cam tensioner kit and very impressed, this is the next step. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

How well does the Zippers kit work on the EFI EVO’s? I would really like to pick up a ‘98 RKC but the Marelli system is the only hold back

A great video Bill the best in death install that I have ever found , you have not stated where your shop is and would love to have a kit put on my 1997 Road King with the Marelli junk on it I am near the Atlanta Ga are you by chance near there or do you know anyone doing this kit swap over that I may contact

I hate the Gas Tank Pump filter change, it took me an hr and 30 mins ... 2000 Road King Police . Hey, I just added the Arlen Ness BIG Sucker breather, can i at least keep that with the conversion, or is that useless with the Delphi ?

Hey there Bill , i have a question for the air bleed screws, it s 1- 1/5 turns from the rear cylinder to front one ? . Have the same problem with the M M efi 01 and it s seems that without at least 2 turns for each cylinder the engine don t start very well . Thank you !!
