This is such a great lesson for ESL students! I hadn't known what the difference between those TH sounds is before I watched this. I should practice pronouncing those sounds correctly as possible as often. Btw, it's so hard for me to pronounce some words pronounced 'th' and 'r' continuously such as "three, through, throw and thrift".... whenever I try to say that words, it sounds really silly and weird..

I teach English, and I thought I knew how to teach the "th" sound but today I have learnt something. You have shown me that when we say, the, that, this, the tongue vibrates a little. Bravo! I am a native speaker, UK, and I have never noticed this before or heard it on other YouTube videos.

Excellent video and your explanation is very good and the practical examples are excellent. I've always told my friends that teaching is creativity and the desire to teach what we know to the people who don't know. YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT TEACHER and you have started teaching phonetics and pronunciation. PHONETICS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT TO PRONOUNCE ENGLISH VERY WELL. Thank you for the wonderful job that you've done
