Typical politician, blame everything else but your own actions. You approved for more stimulus, you approved more spending, you didn't grill the Fed when they were buying bonds hand over fist when the economy was red hot.
I love my job knowing i lost 10% due to inflation. Most economists would say a recession is better than sustained high inflation or stagflation. Let's solve the problem, which is something you are unwilling to do.

Imagine not knowing anything about economics and telling the fed how they should operate

Is she ignorant to what 9.1% inflation does to fixed income retirees? How about the biggest housing bubble to ever exisr? That buyin a house is no longer possible in the US for middle and lower classes?

Yeah, let's continue money printing. Inflation is transitory.

The Fed has increased 1% or over 13 times, hell one of them was 5%. Nothing about these hikes are historical. Trying to make sure no one felt pain is why we have this inflation to begin with.

Looks like Congress will have to take a massive paycut. Recessions are very politically unpopular and cause alot of protests depending on how bad. This is going to be a bumpy ride.

Please put on Conservative Politicians once in a while. She is one of the most Anti-Capitalists in the World. What credentials does she have? Respectfully.

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and loosing all the good opportunities :(

So, the FED pivots, we get new all time highs and the bubble continues growing, until it explodes and we have the biggest crash in history. AWESOME! 🤣🤣🤣

I was a fan of Warren. The CFPB, which was her baby, set out to do great things. However, her views and even understanding on inflation is poor. She thinks forgiving $1.6T in student loans wouldn’t cause inflation. Sadly she has no clue.

She forgot to mention the endless money printing as a cause

Our Karen senator Elizabeth Warren :
It’s your job to fix supply issues, tackle oil prices, not fed’s !

Its embarrassing that she should have known that and worse she was a professor in Harvard university

With that knowledge she shouldn’t be allowed to teach in any community colleges!

Inflation forces lots of elderly out of their homes. People are retired almost as many years as they are employed these days and which group is most capable of addressing economic problems?

Amazing how she didn’t list Democratic policies as a cause for Inflation 🤣

Why is she ignoring the fed balance sheet.

Let's print more money and lower the rate! Have you been to the grocery store lately lady?

I agree with a lot of what she said, but interest rates need to go up. They can't be 0% to 2% any longer, and the fed needs to greatly reduce their balance sheet. However, intentionally damaging the economy to slow or reduce inflation is not a good strategy. The cure for high prices is high prices.
