Mike Salinas just ran a NHRA record 300 MPH in the 1/8 mile 3 weeks ago in a nitro burning Top Fuel dragster. T/F & F/C nitro burning dragsters only run 1000ft not 1320ft. The record is 338 MPH. The previous comments are correct this is Top Fuel Alcohol running 1/4 mile around 280 MPH.

From my experiences with gopros and bike park downhill trails I can say with confidence that their fish-eye wide angle lens makes it appear one is moving twice as fast as they actually are.
