How to Exclude a Virtual Disk from Snapshots in VMware Workstation

If you like to create snapshots of your virtual machines in VMware Workstation but don't want to include every virtual disk VMDK file, then you can leave out certain disks from being included in your snapshots altogether.
The only downside is that you will need to use Independent Disks for this to work and the VM will need to be powered off when taking your snapshots.
