If it came will some closed fists and some relaxed hands this figure would be perfect. Love that this figure not only comes with a lot of accessories, but they’re all also nicely sculpted and painted. Damtoys kept the quality up alongside the quantity.

Awesome figure! Loved the REmakes personally!

As you were wondering, that piece is a 'stock' and should attach to the back of the Matilda handgun, as in game it turns the gun into a small machine gun of sorts (i.e. rapid fire mode)
