Just watched about 40 mins of Mixing and mastering tutorials and finally realize that Electronic, metal, rock and all music types have quite similar processes when it comes to mixing and mastering, and have finally figured out what I was doing wrong and found out about stereo space etc. My new mixes and songs have never sounded better. I'm mastering my first album and this is helping quite a bit. I've had a lot of experience with Logic/audio engineering as a whole but I am by NO means an expert on this kind of thing. I sometimes have trouble following tutorials regarding auto mastering but it sounds like we're on the same frequency (no pun intended) when it comes to this kind of thing. Thanks for the video, great stuff, and really helped me a great deal.

In the bounce menu you can select the beginning and end of the bounce section. The easiest way is to enclose a song in the loop brackets at the top of the arrange window. The beginning and end of the loop brackets will be used in the bounce menu then.

I've been in music for maybe 8 years (since I was about 12) and I've never even given mastering a quick thought. I always just exported well mixed files. Maybe this will give me that extra punch to get some really good stuff out there. Thanks man, much appreciated video!

Thanks Mitch, when I was your age I was a raging rock n roll rebel and guitar fiend. Played 8 hours a day everyday and dreamed of a device that one day would do it all without needing megabucks to spend in studio. Now I am middle aged performing professionally, and after being a PC tech for past ten years, i've gone to the dark side with Macbook Pro. Thanks for your tutorials!!

Thanks a lot man. Used to get a really un-professional sound before because the levels were all wrong from my original project. Just watched this through and used the tips and now everything sounds MUCH more professional :)

Hey thanks for the comment! So, you can do this whole process on the master output of whatever project you want to master. No need to bounce. It was just a lot simpler for me to show with a single track.
I do have some LPX videos out, and am trying to come out with a few a week. Thanks again!
