hey just wanted to let you know that rabbits need a lot more space than just a hutch! please consider making it/them a run in order to avoid health issues and keep them happy :)

Such a sad story. Awesome to share to other people that have absolutely no farming experience, thinking of moving into something of this scope.
This property is indeed a goldmine for someone with an office for plan of action, implementation, financial considerations ect ect.
It's helpful to remember the land and natural environment, it contains, owns us. We are merely temporary caretakers.

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your hard won wisdom. I now know that a freezer is an essential item, but perhaps not for the reasons I first thought!

It's almost time for us to move out to our new place (after years of searching!) - in the meantime we've been practicing our gardening skills at our place in the city, which has been good. We've been able to achieve heaps more then we thought we would. Looking forward to that next step though!! Great video!

🤔 Maybe this will help? When going up or down a really steep hills it is advised to use switch-backs or zigzags. Maybe make a dirt switch-back ramp for the cows? You can do this with hand tools like people do to make and maintain hiking trails. Hope this helps!

Edit: Fixed a typo.

Thank you Dana for your wisdom completely agree with your suggestions about jumping in to the hobby farm # lifestyle block slowly considering whether to be the urban farmer or sell and move to a more critter friendly block

Is it easier in NZ with the rain you have. Do you get drought like us across the Tasman

A hobby farm is NOT a homestead farm. Hobby farming is more like people having pets...not eating them.

You lost credibility when you said rabbits don't need much more than a hutch. Rabbits need lots of space and are very social animals. Treating them thia way is not humane.
