Tilde is one of those players that I watch and wonder why he’s not top 10. He’s extremely sharp and creative

Late but as others say this set is more a testament to Tilde simply being way more on point here. A lot of D-Air abuse especially in the first 2 games really shouldn't be happening to that extent. This gets reflected in Game 3 where JeJa finally starts adapting more and not letting Tilde do whatever he wants. You see Tilde not just merrily dive in with D-Air as much as JeJa now starts moving and attacking around instead of just passively waiting in crouch with responding to an option. And in this game JeJa flubbed some punishes like failing the edgeguard at 8:35 . Even with the mistakes JeJa had the lead multiple times in this game but fell short due to some critical errors. But given more time to adapt I could easily see him make these games look much better. All in all Tilde was just the better player in this set.

This is an annoying matchup for Falco imo

Oof, I was expecting Jeja to play better here. Kirby does well vs Falco, as long as he plays correctly. The key is anti-airing Falco with up tilt, send him off stage, then abuse his disadvantage.

This match up can be irritating for Falco.. you have to play specifically/meticulously

As a Kirby main, Falco is generally not a difficult matchup but Tilde is something different. I faced him once in elite smash and he destroyed me.

Can anyone tell me why everyone is saying this is anything other than a +2 for Falco. Even in neutral, Falco has the better movement stats and projectile. Sure, Kirby being short might annoy Falco when it comes to the first neutral exchange, but the moment Kirby is in the air, Falco probably gets the freest advantage in the game. Slow in the air, no disjoints, his special moves are incredibly commital, I don't see any Falco losing to an evenly skilled Kirby. Falco shouldn't even care about inhale, because Falco is way better at punishing laser, than Kirby is.

HOT TAKE I’m so confused why Kirby mains just never use neutral B. I get it, it’s not the best move in terms of frames and can lead to 50/50s but what about the stuff beyond that? You add an entire new move to your kit if successful, has a bit of a tilt factor. It’s essentially a command grab. It’s fkng great in this MU specifically cause Kirby can do crazy shit with Lasers. Just remove Kirby from the game if people aren’t even going to USE THE THING THAT MAKES HIM COOL.
