I have not seen any of these movies but I did accidentally leave this song playing on loop overnight and it was my third most played on my Spotify wrapped. It was very embarrassing but at least this cover came out of it.

Okay, I love this cover and the small part in the middle with Mal and Hades talking. It really rings home to that kind of relationship between a parent and a child. That was an actual thing my dad told my mom when she told him that my brother and I wanted a closer relationship with him than just seeing him three times a year.

Honestly, when I first watched descendants 3, I unironically was so impressed of hades being Mal's father. Not bc of the whole story, but bc imagine having the privilage of being Hades' daughter
