Fate, destiny and freewill are words that many seem confusing. In this video I break down the difference between destiny and freewill. Does one affect the other? Do they work hand and hand? Can you change it?

Sweet and to the point, great video.
I feel its a mix. We choose, before incarnating, that we will experience this person and that event (destiny). Yet we have the free will to choose to go left instead of right while here. Regardless of which choice we made and where it takes us, we will still experience a predetermined event.
I have trouble accepting that free will is limited by resources and skill level because both can be obtained.
I agree frew will is limited by what we know because, "You don't know what you don't know". Can't have the free will to choose chocolate ice cream if you don't know about chocolate ice cream. Even if you ask your higher self, "I want to experience a different flavor" it doesn't guarantee that you are going to know/experience chocolate ice cream.

Fate brings you opportunities,  and free will determines whether or not you take them. Fate is the destiny that is pre-planned for you, but it's up to you to do something with it. Put another way,  fate is the potential possibilities of your life.
Although often used interchangeably, the words "fate" and "destiny" have distinct connotations. ... Fate is about the present, where every decision an individual has made has led them to their present scenario. However,  Destiny is the future scenario determined by decisions an individual will make.

Ali Myers thank you for this video I enjoyed it. yikes, Ali now you have me looking at my entire life differently, I have to admit I don't really like what am coming up with. but here's my question to You Ali, if we as humans can only do what we are capable of, have knowledge of then how do you explain the concept that beings capable of change we can change into anything. We say that we are all energy and energy changes it is not constant so if that is indeed true why can't we change from what we don't want to what we do want. How do you explain people like Bill Gates and Zuckerberg who started out not knowing or mastering what they started at the beginning but their persistence and ability to change things made a difference? or what about Besos Amazon owner who is the world richest men by starting a bookstore that turned into something else. he's said that in the beginning, he did not know what he was doing he just learned as he went. what am having a hard time understanding is if we as spiritual beings made the decision beforehand to experience everything here on earth from the family we are born into then why can't we continue to make different decision that can change over time thereby doing away with destiny. You said our fate is to die yes that is true but then what? I've always thought our fate was to die and become more than who we were before we came to earth so being earth was a series of lessons so we can become more enlighted and powerful when we transition after learning said lessons. how does one distinguish free will and destiny? example everyday children get kidnapped and tortured and raped are they experiencing destiny or fate. and is free will how they choose to deal with their trauma in a good or bad way how does the concept of choice before birth play into that.?

You have limits on what you csn do. If you're not go at math, you'll never be an Eisenstein no matter how hard you try. Free will will not help you.
