The Strange Case of Alice Cooper is a live concert video release of Alice Cooper, first released on VHS in 1979. The concert was filmed on April 9, 1979 during Cooper's 'Madhouse Rock' Tour in support of the album "From The Inside" in San Diego, California.

Lyrics:
Well we got no choice all the girls and boys
Makin' all that noise 'cause they found new toys
Well we can't salute ya can't find a flag if that don't suit ya that's a drag
School's out for summer school's out forever school's been blown to pieces
No more pencils no more books no more teacher's dirty looks yeah
Well we got no class and we got no principals and we got no innocence
We can't even think of a word that rhymes
School's out for summer school's out forever my school's been blown to pieces
No more pencils no more books no more teacher's dirty looks
Out for summer out till fall we might not come back at all
School's out forever school's out for summer
School's out with fever school's out completely

It's amazing that his voice/performance ability is so much better today that it was 35 years ago. Amazing what 30 years of sobriety will do for you...

The most epic performance I've ever seen. Destroys all metal groups and all metal genres. True raw madness. The guitarists are crazy too, blasting everything around them. Pure psychotic madness

What the HELL is wrong with Alice in this concert? The three times I saw him, he SANG the lyrics, not talked through them.

Awesome version with Alice in fine fooling form and a voice as strong as ever, despite his health at the time. The band playing phenomenally. First time I've seen this version and I loved it. Alice is my rock god...FOREVER!!! Thanks for the post. ❤✌🎸😎

Great version ... I never thought I would ever find a version of this which is almost as good if not better than the original Alice Cooper band . Prakash John in particularly killing it \m/

Great to see Hunter and Glan on decent video (oops, forgot about The Rose). Where can I see Hunter, Glan and Wagner together?

We saw this tour in 1979. Actually, one week before this show in SD was filmed. Portland, Oregon, 4/5/79, can you believe this, this was my first rock show! A+

He mostly had Canadians playing with him on that tour. Fred Mandel is from my home Province of Saskatchewan !

At the Houston show DJ hit a perfect feedback note (check guitar solo at 11 min) that wrecked my equilibrium. Yes, I was sober & yes, I wore ear plugs. But like Alice my ears rang for several days after. That's entertainment!

I was there and we met him and the entire band ! Those were the days !
Geraldo’s bass solo is righteous though!!!!

He was High as Fuck. Crazy show. Love that he sobered up later in life.
