It is crazy knowing how much these hostile architectures cost to produce when it could've been redistributed to actually help the homeless population. Even if that wasn't an option, there are so many other options that could've been thought of or chosen that would actually help the homeless population directly rather than basically communicating "you aren't wanted here". Homeless people aren't just going to disappear and go away, they are also people who need to be shown compassion and love just like the rest of humanity. Homelessness is a growing issue, and it's not just going to go away because we shun it.
