I remember idiots on Facebook one time were trying to tell me that a pitbull could beat a hyena in a fight 😂. I was trying to tell them this. I was like you understand a hyena bites close to 4 times harder then a Pitt bull correct? Lol wherever the hyena bites, it just crushes the bones. Which is why when there is more then one hyena, where the lion just can’t overtake the one with size, they usually just run from the hyenas. Same reason that leopards are petrified of hyenas. Hyenas run then right up trees and bully them lol 😂

A lion maximum bite force is not 650psi. All this false information came from the show call "Dangerous encounter with Brady barr" back in 2005.
For kids who were not born during the show was aired, let me summarise for you, the bite force of 650psi was measured while a juvenile lion was carrying a piece of meat and not a kill bite during a hunt.
The latest bite force measured was 1200s PSI but 1100s was also recorded in a different occasion.

The 650 psi bite force for lions was officially debunked a few years ago. That was assessed on a juvenile male lion back in the 1990’s. A more accurate result concluded a bite force of around 1000psi on an average adult male.
