@ merlinchanelle: yes that is correct. I first went with a 12 gallon shopvac and had no suction power to do what I needed it to do. I later purchased a 12 gallon ridgit and it was about twice the power, not kidding. Oh and I had to stick with a 12 gallon due to limit on space.

looks very good like the hose attachment to this i wonder if it works just as well as i did in the video with that water and how does it keep that pressure and still suck water ?? i want one to get a look at this looks real good

Thank you so much for this video. I lost my user's manual and didn't remember how to set it up for pumping. You'd think that info would be somewhere on Shop Vac's site, but no. No user's manuals either, except for a fairly useless generic one.

If your crawl space is wet dirt with gravel on top; the water is coming in from beneath the floor, is this of any use or is the only option a sump pump?

Can the water pump work with very very dirty water and mud?

i have a pond in our backyard and i want to clean it but then there are plants, dirt, pebbles, gravel, and etc. what should i do about should i use water suction because then im afraid that the machine might burn and brake.and if i put it on dry suction its not gonna take water yeah. what mode should i put it on. thx! :D

first time using my shopvac pump vac 10 gallon to pump water now she is reallly loud  first tiem using it as a pump when i  got done pumping and vacuumin made it so i could use it for dry pick up bags filter dry ect she is loud good suction but my god is she loud shes new to had it one year first pump use and shesa screamer what happen

It's not that great. Don't buy one. It's not as easy as 1, 2, 3. It will start to smoke and burn out. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this.
