Just bought a new shop vac today and wanted to verify that i read the instructions correctly. It stated to remove the filter but had a contradictory warning to leave the filter in place when vacuuming liquids. This cleared that up. Thanks!

Just a heads up, after you've taken out the filter, make sure you run the vacuum outside so that it clears out all the remaining dust.

Or do it in a small room and completely "hot box" the room in 2 seconds, like I did.

What about the moisture and water that shoots out the air exhaust port? Every time I use mine it sprays a little bit of disgusting water and makes a mess?
