Southgate is the "nearly" man. We haven't won anything with him and I doubt we will. How many chances does he need to get us to win a trophy. For me the writing is on the wall. His legacy is going to be "we nearly did it" but to English fans, that's not good enough.

Luis Enrique is the one that's available, he only lost because that Spain team was crap compared to the past, we have a better team and he is a way better manager. Southgate should go, he's proven time and time again in the big games, he makes weird decisions that don't come clutch and he is not going to change, these England fans that want to keep him, well I hope you will be happy to waste this generation of talent because it's not like Germany will try again and possibly improve, it's not like Spain will try again and possibly improve, it's not like Italy will try and actually qualify and improve etc. It's never coming home until we get a proper manager who knows how to win because that's all we need, most managers nowadays are good men managers, it's a rare breed to have the mentality and the know how to win as well as Man Management and Southgate only has Man Management nothing else.

Southgate can't compete with the best. At tournaments... Belgium beat England twice, Croatia beat England, Italy beat England, and now France have defeated England. Southgate is cocky when he manages to beat average or poor teams, but can't handle the pressure of playing good & great teams. He's a failure under pressure.

This 'unlucky' BS has got to stop. That second penalty was a gift from lady luck. Hernandez didn't even need to charge Mount from the back. The players have to step up and stop choking. The manager needs to start using players that aren't his favourites.
