Kane (Glenn Jacobs) was an amazing character but (like the Undertaker gimmick) people thought it would be short lived but look at what became! Kane was my idol when I was a kid and always cheered for him regardless of whether he was a baby face or a heel

Kanes entrances always gave me chills growing up. 26 now and i enjoyed the best days of WWE

From 1997-2003 Kane was one of the top draws on RAW. Immediately inserted into the main event, became world champion (for one day when it should’ve been a year, thanks Vince), became a mega face in 1999, admittedly cooled off and went to the midcard from 2000-2002, but went full psycho heel and was the top draw on RAW in 2003. Some people don’t remember entire episodes of RAW were revolving around Kane destroying everyone and everybody but Austin (and later Shane) being afraid to confront him. After 2003 WWE dropped the ball on him and had him afraid of Undertaker in 2004 and imposter Kane in 2006, but Glen had a really solid 6 year run at the top, with at least one WWE Championship photo op that nobody can take away from him.

Kane is without a doubt one of the coolest characters in wrestling, his original masked run scared and amazed me as a kid, and in real life he's just a solid guy, smart and with a big heart.

Nothing depresses me more in wrestling than wasted potential. Kane should have won at least one Royal Rumble, should have held multiple major titles multiple times, should have got more BoD victories/titles.
