June 7 2023 Kilauea Summit Eruption

Kilauea summit eruption began on June 7 2023 at 4:44am in Halema'uma'u Crater. Lava began bursting out of the middle area of the crater floor followed by several active spattering vent sources. Another fissure is located on the south west crater wall about 100ft above the the lava lake surface. View is from Kilauea lookout area in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This is the home of Tutu Pele the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano.
